1 Introduction

Your privacy is critically important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how PCN-Apps collects, uses, stores, and safeguards your personal and financial information when you use BudgetWise ("the App"). BudgetWise is a personal financial management tool that handles sensitive financial data, and we take our responsibility to protect that data extremely seriously.

2 Information We Collect

To provide BudgetWise's functionality, we collect the following categories of information:

• Financial Information: Income amounts, expense transactions, account balances, bill schedules, budget targets, spending categories, and financial notes you manually enter into the App.
• Personal Information: Name, email address, and any profile information you choose to provide when creating an account or contacting support.
• Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and app usage statistics (features used, session duration, crash reports).
• Data Storage: All your financial data is stored locally on your device by default. If cloud backup is enabled, data is encrypted before transmission.

3 How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

• Operate and maintain BudgetWise's core functionality (tracking income, expenses, budgets, and reports).
• Provide technical support and respond to your inquiries.
• Send important notices, such as updates to the App or changes to our policies.
• Improve the App based on anonymized usage analytics.

4 Data Storage & Security

We understand that financial data is highly sensitive. BudgetWise is designed with a privacy-first architecture:

• Local-First Storage: Your financial data is stored directly on your device. We do not have servers that store your personal financial information.
• Encryption: If you enable data backup, all data is encrypted using industry-standard AES-256 encryption before leaving your device.
• No Bank Access: BudgetWise does not integrate with Plaid, Yodlee, or any financial data aggregation services. We never access your bank accounts, credit cards, or financial institutions.

5 Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal or financial information with third parties for any purpose. We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, financial institutions, or any other external entities. Only anonymized, aggregated data (which cannot identify you) may be used internally for analytics and app improvement.

6 Children's Privacy

BudgetWise is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information, especially financial information, from children under 13. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected such data, we will delete it immediately. BudgetWise is intended for use by adults managing their personal finances.

7 Your Rights

You have full control over your financial data, including the right to:

• Access — Review all data stored by the App on your device at any time.
• Delete — Remove all your data by uninstalling the App, which deletes all locally stored financial information.
• Export — Export your financial data to a portable format (CSV/JSON) at any time.
• Withdraw Consent — Disable cloud backup at any time, reverting to local-only storage.

8 Data Retention

Your financial data is retained locally on your device for as long as you keep the App installed. You can delete individual entries at any time within the App. Upon uninstallation, all locally stored data is permanently deleted. If cloud backup is enabled, encrypted backup data is retained until you choose to delete it or uninstall the App.

9 Third-Party Services

BudgetWise may use third-party services solely for crash reporting and anonymized analytics (such as Google Firebase Crashlytics). These services do not receive your financial data — only anonymized technical data about app performance and stability. We recommend reviewing their respective privacy policies.

10 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our practices evolve or legal requirements change. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy within the App and updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
